Update (Jan 2011)

Here is a little update for JANUARY 2011.

We spent New Year's with some friends and had a great time. I don't think we took any photos (at least I couldn't find them if I did), but Andrew doesn't really like fireworks. He would say, "scared" "go inside" "all done, all done, all done!" Poor little guy. Maybe next year he'll enjoy it a little more.

Ryan had the week between Christmas and New Year's off so we took a little drive to our friendly Ikea where we purchased a new dresser for Andrew (picture on previous post). We also got this bookshelf and plant for our living room. I really wanted a bookshelf that had an open back to allow the color though and this one seems to serve the purpose well. Now, Ryan will tell you that I'm not that great with living things. He says Andrew is the only thing I've been able to keep alive (and now Bailey too I guess). All my plants have died. Honestly, this Texas climate is just not what I'm used to. We'll see how long I keep this plant alive. I'm really really trying! It looks good and healthy here right?

We had a pool table in our dining room for the last year or so. We finally decided to sell it to create an office type area. When we moved the pool table, it left indents on the carpet that really interested Andrew. He would try to stand on two of the indents and made Ryan stand on the other too.

Then he took some of his "friends" and put one on each indent. (pointing to the middle indent mark that we somehow missed)
I think I'm about 31 (ish) weeks in this photo. Still sick everyday though...
Andrew was wearing overalls that were too small and carrying around one of my sewing boxes. He just looked too cute!
LOVE this one!
Ryan's parents came out for his birthday and took some photos of us. We usually don't have photos of all 3 of us.
Andrew and Tutu (Ryan's mom) helped me make pretzel balls. I would roll them into a ball and he would scoot it around the cinnamon and sugar mixture to coat it. He did a pretty good job!
RYAN TURNED 30! On January 14th, we celebrated Ryan's 30th birthday! Man he's old! We went out to Cheesecake factory on his actual birthday and invited friends over for cake and ice cream 2 days later. I got these sparkler candles that kinda sparked as they melted. I thought they would just look cool. The funny thing was that they didn't blow out! Ryan would blow them out, and about 5 seconds later it would re-light! It was awesome! We have video of it, but since I can't figure out how to upload our video, pictures will have to do. But he really had to huff and puff to blow all 30 of those candles out! (multiple times!)

My baby and me! (We got this recliner for free from some of my friend's neighbors. They were giving it away and it was still in good condition. So I just cleaned it up and it's my new favorite seat. Andrew will come up and tell me to scoot over so he can sit and rock with me. :) I never say no.)
"Mano!" Andrew eating a tomato like an apple. He loves tomatoes.
Hehe, this picture makes me smile. I think because he looks like either he just woke up, or he's been "working" all day and is tired and ready to go home. He does have a pile of fruit snacks to keep him going. He looks so grown up here. (Andrew - you have years and years to work my son, go play outside!)
That's better. Lounging in his cool chair with a Mickey paddle ball toy.
He wore this basket on his head for a while, then took his head out and wore it on his back like a turtle shell.
:)
Ryan's parents took this photo I think. I like the effects of this one!
So that's January. It was nice to have a visit from Ryan's parents for his birthday. We did some day to day activities, but nothing else that has photos. Our friend does a music time for toddlers once a week and Andrew really loves going to those and my friend is an AWESOME music teacher. It's great for Andrew to learn music (outside church time) and interact with other kids. We do lots of dancing and singing and mom's are included so I feel this is some special time with Andrew. I really enjoy going and hope we can get back soon after Bailey is born.

PS: did I mention our baby girl's name is Bailey? Just in case you didn't figure that out :)

Wow, it's late.

Nighty night!
