May 2014 - BFTE - Magic Kingdom

On Wednesday May 21, 2014 we visited Disney World's Magic Kingdom. I think this was our most anticipated day. Who wouldn't be excited to go to the happiest place on earth?!

 Here we go!

Almost there!

We got there before the gates opened so we could be the first to the rides. It worked out as you can see in this photo we are walking right behind the workers on our way to Tomorrow Land.

Space Mountain is by far my favorite ride. We must have gone on it at least 5 times.

YMCA. Kinda.

I remember going on the Buzz Lightyear ride at Disneyland. If I recall correctly I beat Ryan. I got smoked this time. His score was so high it stopped counting at 999999. It was still fun to shoot at thee bag guys with our laser gun.

Splash Mountain! I was actually really scared to go on this ride. I don't like drops, but it wasn't that bad and we went a few times.

Big Thunder Mountain.

Mickey's PhilharMagic 3D show.

Ryan was selected to be a guard at Belle's castle.  This video is mostly Ryan marching, but it's fun to see the cute kids and of course, Belle.

Parade time!

I had to take a photo of Elsa and Anna for Bailey.

Main Street.
The Castle.

We took the ferry back to the parking lot. It was a much nicer ride than the train.

We went back that night to watch the light show on the castle. It was incredible and much better in person.  Light show link

Waiting for the tram at the end of the day.
We had a blast at Magic Kingdom!!! The happiest place on earth with some very best friends!!!

May 2014 - BFTE - Animal Kingdom

On Tuesday May 20, 2014 we went to Disney World's Animal Kingdom. The weather was pretty nice considering it was May in Florida. Our first stop was Mt. Everest.

We ran through the park so we could ride the ride a few times before the line got long. We walked right up and onto the ride. Sweet! Then we sat there for 10 minutes. Something was wrong. So we took more photos.

We also started talking to the guy who works on that ride who was standing right next to us. His name was Danny. We love Danny. We got to know him a little bit and then the ride started to go. We all yelled "goodbye Danny" as we went past. As the ride looped around we would say "Hi Danny" whenever we thought he could hear us. I loved seeing the big grin on his face and I knew he heard us. I'm pretty sure we made his day. We went back to that ride throughout the day and always looked for Danny and yelled hello.

The Yeti almost got us!

But we survived. Mt. Everest is behind us.

We went on a few more rides before heading to the Safari.

I don't like fish. Ewww. They were pretty though.

Hanging out with the gorillas.

Two monkeys.

One of the biggest, if not the biggest, attraction at Disney's Animal Kingdom is the Safari.

We saw lots of animals, I just wish I could remember what they were. :)

Hippos!

A beautiful White Rhino.

The Safari was incredible. I loved being able to see so many beautiful animals.

Silly girls.

We cooled off in the afternoon with a trip down the rapids.

It's impossible to see in this photo, but we were soaked.

It's A Bugs' life 3-D show. I think it was in this show that I leaned over to look at something on the back of the seat in front of me and at that second a big puff of air came blowing out onto my face causing me to scream very loud.

Bats!!

We had a lovely day at Disney's Animal Kingdom. The weather was nice, the lines weren't long and the company was great.
