On February 25, Andrew and I got dressed up for the Mother and Son Sock Hop! We had so much fun getting ready and even more fun dancing! I don't get a lot of one on one time with Andrew, so this night was extra special for me. I also don't get a lot of photos of Andrew smiling. Some of these photos are my absolute favorite of us together. Enjoy!
One of my all time favorites. He looks so happy!
After I got home I changed into this outfit realizing it would have been much more comfortable than dancing in that dress. Think Sandy at the end of Grease. :)
This was one of the best nights I've had with Andrew. He was so happy and playful and cheerful. He didn't complain once! These are the moments that make all the tough times worth it. I am so glad Andrew isn't too cool for his mom yet. I'll take as many of these moments as I can get!!!
Happy New Year! January 2017 started the year off right. We had a lot of fun and were silly!
Our good friends, The Wilson family, is moving to Russia for a few years and we wanted to have one more fun adventure with them. Their kids are the same ages as our kids and get along great. Bailey keeps asking when they will come back.
The kids, minus Megan.
The Kearns and the Wilsons!
Me and Felicia. Ryan and Brandon.
We had fun spending time with them and miss them already!!
She is so darn cute.
Saw this guy while walking to the bus stop. Not unusual for our area, but I still don't like it.
Silly girls.
She is such a happy baby! She loves playing the laundry basket. If Andrew or Bailey are home, she will ask them to push her up and down the hallway in it.
We had some cooler weather in Houston that resulted in a hail/snow mix. I am sad to admit that I get cold much easier now since I've lived in Houston for 8 years. Notice a high of 25, but feels like 14?! I definitely had to bundle up to walk to the bus stop.
I made three different flavored steaks for dinner one night. With freshly made rolls and mashed potatoes.....That was delicious!!!
I just love when these kids are silly and I love it more when they are silly with me!
Megan was having a tough time at Hobby Lobby until we got to the mirrors...then she was happy and waving and talking to her reflection.
The kids have always been interested in sewing and I finally got some fun fabric for sewing. The kids had a great time learning. Bailey made a draw string bag and, I forgot what Andrew made...
Bailey had the foot pedal on top of a box so she could reach it.
Andrew got some glasses, but what I love about the photo is he's giving himself bunny ears. Silly boy.
Double binkies!
Megan loves shoes, just like her Mama.
Megan and I joined Bailey for lunch. Look at these smiles! I love these girls!
Bailey seems to be missing quite a few things...My mom made her a sweet pillow that has a pocket in the back for the tooth.
Andrew is very creative when it comes to art and drawing. And who doesn't love some confetti?!
Andrew had another great check up at the dentist!
After bath fun! I love these jammies. My brother got them for Andrew when he was little and Bailey and Megan both have worn them too! I love my little race car driver!
These kids make my heart smile.
Here are some videos from January 2017. Towards the end you will see Andrew getting cub scout badges and Ryan was asked last minute to stand in as an attorney in a mock trial for the youth in our ward. It was pretty hilarious! Enjoy!
