March 2014 - Bailey's Birthday Party!

On March 1, 2014 we had Bailey's birthday party. It was so fun to have Ryan's parents and so many friends here with us to celebrate. We had been planning on having the party at a park, but the wet weather made us change plans last minute. I was worried because I didn't have any games or entertainment planned since the playground was the main source of entertainment, so I ran to Party City that morning to pick up some things. I'm glad we decorated the night before and blew up 50 (or more) balloons.

The Birthday Girl!

She wasn't so happy waking up. We filled her room with balloons thinking she'd get excited when she woke up. She eventually got excited about everything.

Let the party begin!

It will come as no surprise that Bailey requested a pink princess party. She picked out her special princess birthday cake and it was really really yummy!

Make a wish!

I got a bunch of pink glasses for the kids to wear. Bailey liked them for a while, but I think I wore them more than the kids did.

Of course the super heroes had to make an appearance at the party.

Super Pink Birthday Girl!

My sweet/crazy birthday girl!

Bailey got a hold of my camera and wanted to take photos. Bailey knows how to flip the camera around and take a photo of herself.

Bailey then went around taking photos of people. Where is my left arm?

Tutu

Poppy.

Daddy.

Uncle Nick.

We had a great time with our friends and family. Thanks for celebrating with us. Oh, and in case you're wondering how we blew up all those balloons, take a look at this video.  Andrew is a great helper!

February 20014 - Part 2

Here are some more silly photos from February 2014. Ryan's parents came out to visit at the end of the month. We always love to have Tutu and Poppy with us.

My silly kids make me one happy Mama.

This one's for you, Dad. While Ryan's parents were visiting we went to a BBQ place that had a wall of Coca Cola decorations. It made me a little homesick.

I'm holding on to these moments when I can still hold him in my lap.

She's still my cuddle bug, but for how long? They are growing up too fast.

The kids loved playing Candy Land with Tutu.

Bailey enjoys washing dishes. A perfect team with Andrew helping make the food and Bailey helping to clean up.

Catching some 'rays. (Yes, mom they have sunscreen on)

Ignore my crazy hair, but his face was too cute!

Love.

Bailey drew this photo of a little chicken giving the mommy chicken a kiss.

Ryan's parents were able to join Andrew's class for reading time while they were visiting.

A new playground was put in the park right by our church and it quickly became a new favorite.
