June 2015 - Misc.

June was a very busy and exciting month. Here are a few random photos from our lives.

My friends threw me a baby shower at Panera Bread then we went to watch a movie! It was really fun and I was surprised how many people showed up. :)

Bailey always wants me to take photos of her.

38 weeks pregnant. One week before Megan was born!

Andrew works in his workbooks each day. When he finished a workbook he gets a reward. He chose to pull down the train tracks from the attic for his reward this time.

After Megan was born Ryan's company sent us these gorgeous flowers! I had to take photos.

Someone from our ward brought us dinner, a gift for Megan and these sweet baby roses for her. So thoughtful!

UpWords! Bailey likes playing with the letter tiles and we make it fun and educational.

We finally got our piano tuned! This guy was great and was so patient with the kids who wanted to watch and ask questions.

Lunch date!

Ryan's painting Bailey's toes. :)

Me and my 3 kids. Megan is still hiding.

Andrew lost another tooth on June 11!

Bailey started calling "baby sister" Avy a few months ago. After a while the name started to stick and I thought we could name her Avalyn. I fell in love with that name and so did the kids. Ryan, however, hated it. Had he not vetoed it (many times) it would have been her name. It almost became her middle name. Here Andrew wrote in sidewalk chalk "Name baby sister Avalyn, Daddy"

Someone was sleepy.

Bailey had a cough that was lasting for a very long time. I took her to the pediatrician and they said it's probably allergies. I took her to the allergist and they said she has a sinus infection and bronchitis. Ryan has terrible allergies and he gets a cough that lingers for months. We decided to test Bailey for all the allergies. She was a trooper!

Day one of allergy testing was easy going.

She had to come back later for more allergy testing. I didn't know that these tests were given one at a time with a needle. The nurse said little kids usually get their back numbed first. I wasn't told this so we went in unprepared. She was given 15 shots. 15!!!! She did such a good job. I was so proud of her. She said she wanted to be brave and was sad that she started crying. I can't believe how well she did. She really is my brave girl! (According to the results, Bailey wasn't allergic to any allergy tested.)

Bailey loves baby sister. She hugs her, kisses her, talks and sings to her. She is a fantastic big sister already.

Andrew lost another tooth on June 13! He's got a few big holes in his mouth now!

One of my favorite things about June was seeing my bestie! Rose and I were talking one night and she casually mentions that she is flying to Houston for a 3 hour layover the next day. Of course I drove down to meet her! Her flight was delayed so we got even more time together. I knew I needed some Rose time, but I didn't realize how badly I had missed her until I saw her.

Bailey loves her Aunt Rosie.

I love watching this boy read on his own.

Andrew reading to Tutu.

The end!

I don't know what's more sad - that I didn't get to go to your shower, or that I don't know hardly any of the people who did! Freeze time 😭

Sure looked like a fun celebration tho!!!

Also, Andrews voices in the video are killing me! He's so cute!
