Andrew loves to stack and organize things (much like his daddy). We had our big Christmas party last Saturday (which was very fun and successful) and so we put all the Christmas gifts away. We pulled them out after Andrew went to bed last night and so he rediscovered them this morning. This is what he did...
I think he had more fun with the boxes than he will have once he's opened him. I guess we could have just given him wrapped boxes for Christmas :)
Merry Christmas everyone. We hope you're holidays are full of joy and love.
This video is just for fun.

Some Videos
Andrew's first attempt at feeding himself. I think he got more on his face than in his mouth, but still very cute to watch. Enjoy!
Andrew likes to put the lens cap on the camera - while I'm still recording.
Put a hamster in a wheel, they'll go forever. Give Andrew a bike...

Andrew's Room
While Ryan's parents were here to visit, I put Andrey to work. We spent 3 days (I think) painting Andrew's room. I have wanted to do this for months, but needed some artistic help (thanks!). I was inspired by the giraffe that my brother and sister in law had in their old house. It looked awesome and I wanted to do something similar. The main difference is that my giraffe has legs (theirs didn't). So this is my abstract idea of a jungle themed kids room. I wanted it to be less baby-ish so Andrew can enjoy it when he's older too. (If we ever sell this house I will cry when we have to leave this on the wall - or worse - paint over it!)
We decided to do a zebra too because that's Andrew's lovey that he sleeps with.I love how the tree turned out. (It took a few tries)
The finished product! I couldn't fit it all in the photo, but you get the idea!
So, what do you think?

Halloween
Yes, I'm still behind on my posts, but I'm catching up! For Halloween Andrew dressed up as a jester. This costume was Ryan's first Halloween costume when he was 9 months old. So let's compare, Andrew is 13 months old and Ryan's 9 month old costume was a little big on him. However, the hat was too small. Hum, so either Andrew is a small baby with a big head, or Ryan was a big baby with a small head...maybe a little of both??? Enjoy!
Carving Pumpkins. Andrew didn't get into this like I hoped he would. He wouldn't even stick his arm in the pumpkin. Oh well, maybe next year.
Ward Halloween party.
Andrew and LilyAndrew got a balloon animal and really liked to look though it.
Halloween!!!! Our friends had a Halloween party and had a place for the kids to take pictures.
Trick or Treating!
Post-Halloween. Andrew pulled off the pom-poms from his costume and would carry the strings all around the house. Then he would go and find them and collect as many as he can. He has started to try to fit as many small objects as he can in one hand. (I am still finding these pieces of yarn in random places - like my shoes in my closet)
Hope you all had a safe and fun Halloween!

Andrew's First A's Game
While we were in California, my parents and I took Andrew to Oakland to watch his first baseball game. The weather was perfect, our seats were great and we had so much fun! I was nervous to take him because he was starting to walk and I didn't think he would stay still for a full game, but he was great! He got some good time with my parents and he got a tan (while I burned...glad he got Ryan's skin).
This is a horrible picture of me, but Andrew is being so funny so I wanted to include it.
Heather Farms Park
While we were in California, my mom had an eye exam near by Heather Farms Park. We decided to take the time to go play at the park. Andrew loved it. We went for a stroll around the pond and then played in the bark for a while. He had a blast. Enjoy the photos!
On the way home from the park. He was such a happy guy!

We have lots more photos from California still to come...stay tuned!
