Sarah's 27th birthday.
Bailey always sleeps like this. It can't be comfortable.
I want to remember these moments forever.

BAILEY AND ANDREW
Andrew still loves to hold Bailey. Her expression in this photo is just funny to me.

Play time.
Bed time. (Andrew is sharing his most loved animal, "Saussy" and his special BYU blanket with Bailey. He loves laying with her and sharing with her)
Monkey see monkey do.
One afternoon I heard this banging in Andrew's room while he was supposed to be taking a nap. I opened the door to see Andrew sitting inside a plastic bin that he had somehow pulled into his crib. It was pretty funny.
We go to "the fountains" a lot when it's warm outside. He loves to play in the water and we don't have to worry about drowning or anything.
Andrew was standing on our rocking chair and was trying to jump to the couch (which we've told him not to do multiple times). He didn't make it and somehow landed on his side on the tile. He cried for half an hour (which is very unlike him) so we knew something was wrong. We didn't see any swelling, bruising, redness or anything. Once we got him to calm down we asked him where he hurt. He said his arm so we thought he broke his arm. But we were able to touch his arm without him screaming, so then we weren't sure. Of course this happens on a Friday night so I couldn't call the doctors. I called my sister and my friend who both work in the medical field. They helped me know what to look for and to reassure me that I was doing everything right. We said we'd wait till morning to see how it's going. By morning there was no bruising, swelling or anything that indicated that he broke his bone. So I thought he just really smacked it. It was still a little sensitive to the touch, but he didn't cry when we touched it. He would, however, hold his arm tight across his body and wouldn't use it. He cradled it and protected it so we knew it was still bothering him. So Monday we scheduled and appointment first thing and went to get x-rays taken. Andrew was so good when they took the x-rays.
We went back to meet with the doctor and he did in fact have a break. He had a buckle fracture in his elbow. It wasn't very bad, so the doctor said he could wear a sling or get a cast.
(At the doctors. He was happy because he had a sucker)
We decided to go with a sling for now and if we wanted we could always but a cast on later.
He didn't like it too much. We let him put stickers on his sling, hoping that it would make it more fun to wear. Well, the stickers didn't stick more than a day, so I think that idea backfired.
The next problem was that he would still use him arm and the sling would just slowly slide up his arm and make it pointless. So I used a (pregnancy) wrap to try to get his arm to sick by his side. He didn't like this either. Now he couldn't catch himself when he fell, which made it more likely that he could injure his other arm by falling full force on on it.So then I safety pinned the sling so it couldn't slide up. That seemed to help a little. We ended up getting an adult elbow brace which actually fit him because it was velcro. That seemed to be the best thing for him because he could still extend his elbow, but if he fell with his arm bent, his elbow was protected. He even liked wearing it.
After two weeks of the brace, we went back for another x-ray and found out his elbow had healed and he just had to take it easy for a few weeks (no jungle gym or climbing on stuff).
He was a happy camper.
These are a few of my favorites.
