April 2012 - Easter

On  April 7th, we packed up and drove down to Katy to spend the day with the McClures to celebrate Easter. We bought a egg dying kit a week or so before and Andrew had been asking every day if it was time to color the eggs. The box had eggs with happy faces so I wonder if he was expecting the eggs to come alive somehow. Well the day came and he was able to finally open the box. He was confused with the minimal contents and lack of animated eggs, but since he was surrounded by excited boys, he quickly got excited too.

Dying the eggs.

Before we put the eggs in the dye, we colored on them with white crayons. It was hard to tell exactly what we were doing because white crayons obviously don't show up too well on a white egg. I tried to make a BYU egg.  Go Cougars!

I thought I put my egg in the blue dye, but it was purple. :(

Then we hid plastic eggs while the real eggs dried.

Bailey enjoyed our delicious Easter dinner!

 The boys watched a movie.

The following day was Easter Sunday. We got the kids dressed in their Sunday best and went to church.

 Getting the princess ready.

This was her Easter dress. Notice the matching silver shoes?

I LOVE this photo of our Bubba.  I think we're going to have enlarge it.

Andrew was trying to make a fishy face.

 Fishy faces!

We hope you all had a lovely Easter. We are grateful for our Savior and all He has done for us. We are grateful for our the blessings that we enjoy and for our little family.
