We went to another farm not long after our first trip to a farm. This time we went to Old Macdonald's Farm. (And yes we sang "Old MacDonald" a bunch that day). It was a little warm, but still not a bad day to be outside. It had similar things to the other farm, but also a few fun spots for the kiddos.
Like a giant sand "hill" for the kids to play on. Andrew loved it.
There is a huge play area for the kids and lots of different sets of swings. There is also a pool, but it was closed.
The best part about this farm is that the kids can ride the horses! Andrew had a hard face to read while we were standing in line. He didn't look excited, or scared or anything, but when it was his turn he walked right up and hopped on.
I think he had a good time, although he sure wasn't showing it in this photo.
This photo was taken right before Bailey fell out of the stroller. Yup. Andrew was having trouble playing with the tether ball so I went to help him. I heard a cry and turned around and someone was holding Bailey and the stroller was tipped over. I felt awful.
We were there for quite a while. Bailey was exhausted, but Andrew really enjoyed himself.
And of course we fed the animals. At this farm we got a bag of food/seed to give them.
Bailey had to stay out of the animal areas.
You don't really realize how big a cow is until it's towering over your 3 year old.
Really, really, really fat pigs. Andrew didn't want to go any closer.
The End.
