October 2014 - Fun Run

On October 10, 2014 Andrew participated in his school's fundraiser The Fun Run. Andrew got a few sponsors to pledge a certain amount per lap that he completed in a specific amount of time. Andrew's teacher is so fun and involved that she and the room mom dyed the shirts red and put a giant "The Whos" sticker on the front so we could see our kids easier as they ran by. They also decorated their hair in the classroom and got fun glasses to wear. Andrew was such a good sport. It was hot and really humid that day and he ran for most of the time. He completed the maximum of 35 laps. Each time they completed a lap, an adult would mark off a number on the back of their shirt to keep track. I thought that was a smart idea. I was really proud of him for his good attitude and he kept jogging and moving and never stopped except for water breaks and to be marked off.

 

Andrew shared his glasses with Baiely. 

 

All done! He was tired.
