December 2014 - Christmas!

Merry Christmas! A quick post with a few highlights from our favorite holiday.

I made Hobble Pobble again on Christmas Eve. It's a family tradition that I take very seriously.

Cooking veggies and potatoes. Don't they look pretty?

Ready to bake. Creamy and cheesy goodness.

Also watching It's a Wonderful Life on Christmas Eve is a tradition.

Andrew and Bailey had a sleep over on Christmas Eve and could have any and all of their friends on their bed. Can you find them in this photo?

Christmas morning welcomed me with this lovely goodness. I love Hobble Pobble.

Christmas morning!

We open stockings while the Hobble Pobble finishes cooking. When Ryan and I were first married, we didn't have much money so we stuffed our stockings with things we already had around the house. It turned out to be a pretty funny morning finding spatulas and dental floss in our stocking. We keep the tradition going and find random things to put in the kids stockings. The kids get to stuff our stockings too with whatever they want. It's fun for them to be creative and look around for unusual things to put in our stockings and we always get a laugh out of it.

This musical toy is pretty awesome. It plays songs and will change what instrument you hear based on what instrument is in the orchestra pit. It helps the kids learn what the instruments sound like while having a lot of fun.
